Touch Screen Cable

Does anyone out there have a more convienent way to engage the touch screen cable?  I have tried sliding it in with pliers, tweezers and finally brute force. Nothing works. The clip is there, but it isn't catching the ribbon cable.

You have to lift the clip up. IT works the same as the top and bottom lcd clips.
