I have attempted to repair my top screen twice.  I thought it was a screen issue so I purchased a second one but the same problem exists.  When I made my first attempt I didn't know that the P3 connector had a flap so I may have damaged it because the two times I replaced the top screen, when I powered up the console I immediately saw a burst of colored lines then the screen when white.  I also made sure that I pushed the top screen ribbon snuggly into the p3 connector.  Sound is fine and bottom screen is fine but there is not even a slight image on the top screen.  If I did damage the p3 connector, can that be replaced and if so, is there an online video tutorial that I can view to properly replace it?  FYI, I purchased my two top screens via ebay and I don't know if they were used or new.  Also, the top screen ribbon does show some bent signs, could this also be an issue because I don't know how to round it out without it being bent.

Looks like you did damage the connector. It can't be replaced. Sorry.
