I just wanted to know some instructions for me to replace
the backlight of a psp slim lcd.
I want to use to the backlight from a cracked lcd to use
in a new lcd that didn't come with the backlight.

I'm just quite familiar with opening/replacing screens
I've just never replaced a backlight

Thanks in advance

The screen is attached to the backlight with some adhesive. Use something like a screwdriver to pry one side of the screen out and then just pull the rest off slowly

Is the Screen for the Slim the same as the one for the Fat?  Is it universal?  Could I take one from one and place it in the other?

I have a broken PSP Slim screen and a broken PSP Fat.  The Fat's screen is perfect, it just won't hold a charge for very long or read UMDs anymore.

The screens are different. If you want to fix your psp fat just get a new battery and umd drive.
