I've had my DS for years now.  One day I turned it on fully charged, the bottom screen flashed and turned off...I tried it a thousand times with the same result.   About every hundred times I try, it'll turn on and I can play until the top screen moves a millimeter and then it shuts down again.

Any body have this issue?

What parts would I need?  How much would it cost to repair?

Top screen cable is worn through. Replace top screen and you'll be back in business.
