dropped psp, help!

My son's PSP accidentally got dropped on the hardwood floor and since, when turned on, the screen is bright white, with no images visable. When it starts up, you can hear the chime of the game, like it's starting but see nothing but bright light. Any ideas???

If your screen isn't spiderwebbed you might have motherboard damage. Can't be sure without looking at it.
