Zune HD Digitizer Front Cover Assembly Replacement Tutorial
This tutorial will show you how to replace the front cover assembly on your Zune HD. The front cover assembly consists of the digitizer, front glass screen, and faceplate. Right now it looks like there is no practical way to separate the assembly so if one part is damaged all will have to be replaced. To do this you'll have to almost completely disassemble your Zune.
Stuff you will need:
- A few small screwdrivers (flat head, tri-wing)
- Ziplock bags for screws and small parts
- X-acto knife with the flat #17 blade

After the frame is off the job is fairly simple. Throw away the old front cover assembly and install the new one. |
